Nkem Owoh" class="alignleft" width="304" height="190" />The hostilities in the Niger Delta of Nigeria has ceased, but the kidnapping that was part of the hostilities has not abetted but rather has increased, what worries the most, is that most reported cases of kidnapping, is outside the Niger Delta area.

In the Eastern part of Nigeria, driving a big car may now result to one been kidnapped, no one is safe any longer; there are tales of kidnapping every week.

Just this week, on Monday Nollywood popular actor/comedian Nkem Owoh a.k.a Osuofia, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen along Enugu-Port Harcourt express way and they are demanding N15 million naira ransom.

His kidnap came barely few months after the ace actor, Pete Edochie, was kidnapped at Afor – Nkpor in the Idemilli North local government area of Anambra State.

Many from the Eastern part of Nigeria has cancelled going home for chirstmas.
